-
Rule number one. You
must read and follow the rules. Easy enough.
-
Please place a banner or button on your home page within three days of placing your
nomination and link back to us - http://cnscaldron.com/vixenawards.htm.
You don't have to but it would sure be very kind of you if you helped
promote us.
-
In order for a category
to be judged we must have at least three entries. So be sure to spread
the word on your egroups and websites. If we don't have enough
submissions per round that category will not be judged
-
You may nominate your
own fiction or that of someone else. Be sure to check before submitting
that it isn't already on our list of entries.
-
Authors and readers can
submit as many stories as they like but only one author per
category so pick which one you feel is the best.
-
All links must be correct
to the fic being nominated. Work that appears solely on egroups or chat
pages are not legible. It must have a permanent home and open to
everyone to read.
-
NC-17 fics are accepted
in all categories however each story must be noted as such in the
comments field.
-
A working email to the author is
needed for nomination. If this isn't provided the nomination will be
disqualified. You must also list your email address if you are not the
author.
-
All stories must be
completed. No works in progress.
-
The secret word is
Wiccan and needs to be included with your entry to know you've read the
rules
-
Works listed on CN's
Caldron, even if they appear on another site, are not eligible for
nomination unless they are a 'runner up fiction'. If you didn't
win first place in a round, you (or someone who loves you) may make a
nomination for the next round.
-
All winners (First
Place and Runner Ups) agree to
have their story achieved on CN's Caldron of Fan Fiction if we decide and will be
notified by email of their nomination.
-
Judges are anonymous until Final Awards are given. If you'd like to be a judge please contact
us. You may enter the contest and be a judge but you may not judge a
category you are entered in...but I think that goes without say. However
for the record we'll say it anyway: You can not compete and judge the
same category.
-
You may enter more than
one category if the story fits that description (For example a
Willow/Angel fiction which is also an NC-17 story) but no more than one
author per category.
