Otalia
Fan Fiction
Otalia fan fiction
began for me thanks to a friend. Bridget told me, in
April 2009, to check out this scene on YouTube of Olivia
Spencer confessing her love to her best friend Natalia
Rivera and I was pretty much a goner. I had to find out
what was this story about since I was never a soap fan
(truth is, I'm still not). I will say though that this
storyline did capture my attention. I was certain that
CBS and P&G, who owned the series, would let these
two characters eventually kiss, but no such luck. I
think they were too worried about offending the 'ole
blue hairs' that still watched soaps.
So what started as
a promising romance that would break daytime (and
perhaps even U.S. television) barriers fizzled out and
died of lesbian bed death (before they ever showed them
having sex). Incidentally, the serial itself actually
died too when it officially ended in Sept. 2009 after 72
years on radio and then T.V. However, thank the writing
Gods for fan fiction (and great work from great
authors). We no longer have to settle for hand holding
alone. Many writers have done a good job of righting a
terrible wrong and the even better news is you can find
Otalia fan fiction at other sites, like Incandescent
Fire, where I host all my 'in progress' Otalia fan
fic. You need to sign up to view the site, but it's well
worth it, so be sure to stop out there if you get the
chance and let the authors know you're reading with a
kind word. It really does help inspire them to continue
writing.
Anyway, some of
these Otalia stories you'll find on this site have E-fic
versions at http://www.broodingdetective.com/otalia/authorlist.html. If
you've got a mobile device, and you like my tales then
be check out that site too. Now some of these stories
are general and others are NC-17. Just be sure to read
the disclaimers at the top of each page if certain
themes might bother you.
Now, with all that
said... onto the Otalia fic concoction of CN's
Caldron...

An Otalia Wedding
- It's 2029 and there's an Otalia wedding brewing that
features siblings Emma, Rafe, Ava, Francesca and Elena.
The story includes flashbacks to particular incidents
over the years - both happy and sad - for many of the
well-known faces of Springfield, but particularly the
Spencer-Rivera's.

Olivia and Natalia trying to play matchmaker to the

Nothing but some NC-17 sexy smut.

This was an altered reality/ what if story I wrote for
my friend Dragonwriter who proposed, "What if

Natalia kiss her?"
|
|
Loving You Both -
Olivia finds a way to help Natalia balance their love and
her lovers' faith in God.
|
|
Lunch Counter Confessions -
Olivia gossips with Doris and Blake about Natalia and
the wonders of lesbian sex... at least until Natalia
unwittingly shows up and hears her comments.
|
|
Matt? Really? -
This verrrrrrrry long story was written on a daily/weekly
basis and used spoilers following Natalia's return from
the retreat until the end of the series in Sept. 2009. It
could be viewed as an alternative / sometimes parallel
story to what happened in canon.
|
|
It's
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year -
Natalia reflects on a Christmas past and their first
Christmas with newborn Francesca.
|
|
Merry Christmas Baby -
A sexy NC-17 sequel to my Christmas 2009 story, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the
Year" You don't need to read the other to understand
this one, but you might enjoy it.
|
|
One Kiss -
Otalia’s first kiss told from one of the character’s perspective. ‘Nuff said…

Two) - Rafe examines the relationship of
his mother and Olivia.

Francesca trick or treating and the youngster learns a
lesson in marketing from her Mom.
|
|
Dimples

told from various family members point of view with each
chapter representing a year from her life.
|
|
Until Death -
Dark (Did I say DARK) tale of what might have happened
if Natalia went through with the wedding. Note:
Olivia and Natalia are together but it's a hurt/angst
story that might bother some readers. You have been
warned. :)
